Looking Back on Respect Life Month
Our Lady of the Wayside’s Respect Life Ministry had quite the month of events. We invited the parish to pray for life after all masses, attended the March for Life in Palatine, hosted a wonderful speaker, and held perpetual adoration in the Gathering Place. We are so thankful to all of our parishioners who took part in these events. Our Lord was attended for all 40 hours creating an unbreakable chain of prayer before His Holy Face.
Our speaker Anne-Marie Miller presented Pro-Life Apologetics, Sharing the Truth with Love in front of 30 people, teaching us how to plant seeds in order to prayerfully change hearts and minds when it comes to respecting life. See Anne-Marie’s PowerPoint presentation and more photos here.
Finally, we attended the Palatine March for life, standing on the sides of Northwest Highway, a visible testament to the protection of all life, from conception until natural death.
Thank you Lord, for without You, nothing like this could have been possible. Thank you to everyone who participated in our events! We are truly blessed!

Please also pray for pro-life advocates like Mark Houck (see video HERE), who are being persecuted by our justice department for peacefully praying in public areas.
