30 enthusiastic people were on-hand for Anne-Marie Miller’s Pro-Life Apologetics, Sharing the Truth with Love presentation Wednesday night. Father Gilbert Mashurano led the evening by praying the Prayer for Reverence For Life with all present. Jan LeTourneau followed with an introduction of Anne-Marie, including the story of how the Holy Spirit made the evening possible.
Anne-Marie then delivered a passionate presentation on God’s sacred gift of life, protecting life from conception through natural death, the Church’s position on abortion dating back thousands of years, abortion facts, figures, and fallacies and how — in a loving, non-emotional way — to “plant seeds” (not win arguments) with those willing to listen to the Truth. She spoke of the need for compassion and support for women wounded by the physical and emotional aftermath of abortion — emphasizing God’s infinite mercy. Anne-Marie Miller is a dynamic Catholic pro-life speaker, wife and mother of 4. She has been active in the Respect Life Ministry at her home parish of Saint Gilbert in Grayslake for over 20 years.
Anne-Marie has done extensive work in the pro-life community partnering with organizations such as Life Chain, 40 Days for Life, and Lake County Right to Life. She is also a trained sidewalk counselor and holds a Master’s Degree in Theology from Holy Apostles College and Seminary and is currently working as a Client Advocate for Aid for Women Pregnancy Care Centers.
