How Will You Make Your Family Even Better This Year?
Father Bill Zavaski visited Our Lady of the Wayside to celebrate Mass on the Feast of the Holy Family. In his homily, he shared how Mary and Joseph are role models for all families to follow. He asked those present — all members of families — to reflect on how they contributed to their family’s well-being and spiritual well-being in their roles as father, mother, brother, sister, grandparent this past year. He asked all to consider, “What did you do to make your family better this past year?”
Father Bill also commended Our Lady of the Wayside for having one of the strongest Christian Family Movements [CFM] in the Archdiocese, saying, “You have a gift and a wonderful reputation…” [for your CFM program]. (See his comments at in the video below)
Father concluded by saying, “Practically speaking, we all have a lot of work to do to enhance our families” and asking, “What will you do in the coming year to make your family even better?”
Enhance your family by joining CFM! Everyone is a part of a family in one role or another, and this has its challenges! But surrounding yourself with like-minded families facing similar challenges makes the journey more fun and easier to stay focused on what matters most – we are GOD’s FAMILY.
