Chris Stefanick: A Billion Reasons to Believe

Welcome to a new day of life! May this new day find you willing to open your heart to faith yet again and trust the Lord to provide and care for you and your family.

If you take a few moments to look at the created order or nature around you, you’ll find a sense of wonder, beauty, and silence. God, the author of all of this, is certainly good and what’s amazing is that sacred scripture tells us we can know God exists simply through what has been made. As we marvel at the splendor of the stars perhaps we’ll experience a deeper peace and greater freedom too if we can learn to surrender our need for control. Wherever this finds yourself in your life today, my prayer is that you will know (in your head and your heart) that God is intimately acquainted with the details of your life and he cares about your circumstances (1 Peter 5:7). 

Sometimes we need to be reminded of who we are, why we’re here, and who we belong to. If God takes notice of a single sparrow, how much more will he help you when you call out to him!? (Matthew. 10:29-31). May you put any fear or anxiety aside, and walk in confidence today as a beloved son or daughter of God!
