Easter Mass Registration Updates (Important)

Preregistration for Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday Masses at Our Lady of the Wayside has been moved up by one day and will now begin on Thursday, April 1 at 7:00 am.  Please make a note of this if you are planning to attend in-person Easter Mass at OLW.  We expect mass slots to fill up very quickly.

Mass preregistration (which is mandatory) will be available here.

Seating demand for Easter Masses will exceed availability as the Archdiocese of Chicago and State of Illinois still restrict maximum attendance in all churches to 20% of maximum capacity (or 125 congregants at OLW).

For those unable to attend in-person, the 8:00 pm Easter Vigil and 9:30 am Easter Sunday Masses will also be livestreamed on OLW’s YouTube and Facebook pages, as well as being available on this website for on-demand viewing at any time.  If you’ve been attending livestream masses at other parishes during the pandemic, we invite you to please come home and celebrate Easter Mass with your parish family at Our Lady of the Wayside.

Finally, in case you have not already heard, to accommodate additional parishioners wishing to attend Easter Mass, Father Arthur and our Liturgical Team added one additional Mass to the Easter Sunday lineup: A 6:00 am “Sunrise Mass.”
