In-person, Weekday Masses Added For Lent

Great news for daily Mass-goers and for those looking to attend Mass and receive Holy Communion on a daily basis throughout the Lenten Season…

Beginning February 18, the 8:30 am Weekday Mass will be offered for in-person attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.  OLW’s Reopening Team has graciously volunteered their greeting and cleaning services for three additional days (Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays) during the Lenten Season to make this possible for parishioners and visitors.

“We are extremely grateful to our amazing volunteers for assisting our pastoral staff to more comprehensively meet the spiritual needs of Our Lady of the Wayside’s community,” said Deacon Peter LeTourneau, Director of Parish Ministry & Evangelization.  “Without their tireless efforts to maintain a safe worship environment, none of this would be possible.”

As with all Church Masses and Services, pre-registration is required.  You may register online here.  If you require assistance, please contact Mari Torgerson in our parish office at 847.253.5353.  She will be glad to assist.

Daily Masses also continue to be offered via livestream on OLW’s Facebook and YouTube pages and are archived for viewing on our website.

Please note: Daily Mass is NOT available for in-person attendance on Wednesdays as OLW School Children attend then and Archdiocese pandemic restrictions limit in-person mass attendance to 20% of our Church’s total capacity.
