Ministry Update: OLW’s Youth Group Is Alive and Well

With the pandemic making OLW ministry meetings and actions challenging, to say the least, here is a happy update from Our Lady of the Wayside’s Director of Youth Ministry, Arielle Joaquin…
- The youth ministry has been having consistent online meetings via Zoom. We have had fellowships and discussions about social justice, our faith, prayer, and the Bible.
- As a ministry team, we have also had meetings about retreats such as Kairos and Camp Wow.
- We previously joined together with Holy Family Parish for a workshop on chastity & marriage.
- We are currently figuring out how to have safe, small in-person gatherings to bring our teens back together.
Kudos to our Youth Ministry for sharing their faith and remaining as active as possible in these difficult and trying times. The prayers and blessings of all our OLW parishioners go out to you all.
