Fr. Artur Extends Thanks & Blessings to Jim Liput For Years of Dedicated OLW Service
Dear Our Lady of the Wayside Parishioners,
This letter is to recognize James Liput, Business Manager of our parish, church and school for all the significant contributions he has provided to us over more than a decade of service to Our Lady of the Wayside. After many years of sincere dedication and professional stewardship Jim has decided to leave his position, and our parishioners, staff, school and I will miss his management of not only the strong financial reporting, controls and liaison with the Archdiocese of Chicago, but also his advice, direction and management on the too many to mention capital and maintenance projects over the years. One such project is the recent beautiful remodeling of our church with new lighting, pews, flooring cleaning, painting and organ repair and tuning.
Jim, also, was one of the originators of the popular fundraiser “Wayside Loves Winners” held in connection with the parish picnic each year. People who work closely with Jim recognize him for his strong Catholic faith, loyalty and commitment to the church, school and the overall mission of Our Lady of the Wayside Parish. It is our expectation that our parish will be financially capable to weather the storm of the challenging current pandemic because Jim has provided professional guidance and controls with the highest of integrity over this important element of our parish management.
Friday, July 17, 2020, was Jim’s last day of service at Our Lady of the Wayside parish. Please join me in thanking and wishing Jim the best of health and happiness with his family and future pursuits.
Currently, I have formed a parish team with guidance from the Archdiocese to search and select a replacement for Jim in the very near future. Please feel free to contact the parish office if you have any questions about our search for the position.
Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Father Artur Marat
Pastor
