Deacon Jerry Brennan will lead a discussion of the Sunday March 22 Gospel from John, the Man born blind. This Gospel teaches us that we see in faith with our heart and not with our eyes. This man who Jesus meets outside the Temple has been physically blind his whole life but he is courageous and knows the truth. His faith saves him and we can contrast his faith with the Temple leaders and his parents.
A blind man can see with faith and a sighted person can be blinded by a hardened heart. Deacon Jerry has a number of family members, five who have gone blind, and will discuss how they cope, and in some cases thrive because blindness has led them to a different understanding of life.
All men of the parish (14 and older) are invited. Please invite any other men that would want to participate
