“Ziggy Zaggy, Ziggy Zaggy, Oi Oi Oi!”
Our Lady of the Wayside’s Oktoberfest celebration was wunderbar! Those who chose Oktoberfest over Harmony Fest, or came before or after, were treated to great OOMPAH by “Die Kellerknaben” followed by great rock by “The Album Covers.” The food was tasty and the beer was cold. Several raffle prizes were awarded and the weather cooperated (no rain!) so all went perfectly.
A HUGE shout out of gratitude to Erin Berwick (and family) who put enormous effort into planning and running this year’s event, and to all volunteers, young and old(er), who helped with setup, teardown, and the event itself. Thank a volunteer! These #doers and #differencemakers made the evening possible.
