REP News – Week of September 9th

Monday, September 9

• R.E.P. students in Grades 2-4. Practice at 4:00 p.m. in Church with those students who volunteered to participate in the Beginning- of-the-Year Mass. This Mass will take place on Tuesday, September 10 at 4:10 p.m.

Tuesday, September 10

• R.E.P. Classes for Grades 1-4. First day of classes.  Students will attend their Beginning-of-the-Year Teaching Mass with their teachers.  Parents are invited to attend Mass at 4:10 p.m.
• R.E.P. Students in grades 7-8.  First day of classes.  All classes will be held in the Middle School. Open House is from 6:30-7:00 p.m. Catechists will bring their students to Church at 7:10 p.m. for a presentation of important information by Sr Adrienne and Sr Joan in preparation for the following session’s opening Mass.
• Mass practice from 11:50 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. with Mr. Martino’s seventh grade class.

Wednesday, September 11

• Mass practice from 11:50 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. with Mr. Martino’s seventh grade class.

Thursday, September 12

• All School Mass. This will be a teaching Mass in which Mr. Martino’s seventh grade class will have special participation.

CATECHETICAL SUNDAY  – September 15 at the 9:30 a.m. Mass
There will be a special commissioning at the 9:30 a.m. Mass for the R.E.P. Catechists, Staff, School Teachers and Staff. They will be called up to the sanctuary of the Church at the end of Mass as they will receive a special blessing for their Ministry.

SECOND GRADE PARENTS

• Reconciliation Meeting in the Gym – Monday, September 16th – 7:00-8:30 p.m.  This meeting is for all Second Grade Parents. During the meeting parents will receive a packet with information about the Reception of the Sacrament of Reconcilation on Saturday, November 9 at 9:30 a.m.
