Wheeling Township Thanks OLW Meals on Wheels Volunteers

Cy Kabat and Sadie Kelly, leaders of Our Lady of the Wayside’s Meals on Wheels Ministry recently received a “thank you” from Kathy Lewiston, Home Delivered Meal Program Coordinator of Wheeling Township, in gratitude to our #doers, #differencemakers and #disciples who delivered hot meals to their senior citizen and disabled residents in the month of September this year.

Dear all of you kind, patient & wonderful volunteers from Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church!

Thank You for volunteering for Wheeling Township’s Home Delivered Meal Program last month. Your help was invaluable.

This is a critically important program to seniors and permanently disabled individuals in our community, and without the help of amazing Church volunteers like yourselves, we wouldn’t be able to assist them.

Thank you again for your help. I hope you enjoyed your volunteer opportunity, and we look forward to working with you again next year.
