Champions of Faith: Baseball Edition showcases the intersection of sports and faith in Major League Baseball by profiling many of the most accomplished and devout figures in the game both on and off the field. Major League baseball champions Mike Piazza, David Eckstein, Jeff Suppan, Mike Sweeney, Jack McKeon and Rich Donnelly lead an All-Star line-up in this sports special that tells the story of faith in baseball.
The Knights of Columbus are sponsoring this movie to honor the feast day of their founder, Blessed Michael McGivney. In 1882, Fr. McGivney founded the Knights of Columbus as a charitable fraternal organization to provide financial assistance to Catholic families on the illness or death of their breadwinner.
