Bishop Grob Confirms OLW Parish 8th Graders
On Saturday, March 11, Bishop Jeffrey Grob bestowed the Sacrament of Confirmation on two groups of OLW Parish 8th-graders. The first Confirmation Mass was celebrated at 10AM and the second at 2PM. Fathers Arthur Marat and Gilbert Mashurano concelebrated with Bishop Grob, and Deacon Peter LeTourneau assisted.
Bishop Grob delivered a thoughtful Homily, highlighting a message from the novel, “The Velveteen Rabbit,” relating it to ‘becoming real’ as people of faith and as a ‘believers in Him’. He concluded by encouraging the Confirmandi to “think about what you are about to say ‘yes’ to” as “your relationship with ‘Him’ can make all the difference in the world.” To watch Bishop Grob’s homily, CLICK HERE.
