Tuesday, April 23
Practice for First Holy Communion 1:00 p.m. Mass. (Children Only) 4:00-5:30 p.m. in Church.
Wednesday, April 24
Practice for First Holy Communion 10:30 a.m. Mass. (Children and Parents) 4:00-5:30 p.m. in Church
Thursday, April 25
Practice for First Holy Communion 1:00 p.m. Mass. (Children and Parents) 4:00-5:30 p.m. in Church
Friday, April 26
The Church will be set up for First Holy Communion.
Saturday, April 27
First Holy Communion Masses at 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Luncheon in the Gathering Place for priests, teachers and staff at 12:00 p.m.
REGISTRATIONS
Religious Education Registrations are due no later than April 30, 2018 in order to avoid a late registration fee. New families will need to include a Baptismal Certificate if your child was not baptized at Our Lady of the Wayside Parish. The registration form can be found here on the parish website.
POLICIES FOR SACRAMENT YEARS
Students entering Grade 2 must have had formal religious instruction the previous year, otherwise they will be placed in Grade 1. Grade 2 is a sacrament year, as students will receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist for the first time. Students entering Grade 7 must have had formal religious instruction in Grade 6 before being accepted into the Grades 7-8 Confirmation Preparation Program.
