When I Was a Stranger, You Welcomed Me…
Viator House of Hospitality is a home for up to 25 young men who have escaped violence in their home countries and have come to the U.S. alone seeking asylum. At Viator House, these young men, 18-25 years old, can go to school, work, learn English and access medical services while they adapt to life in the U.S. and await their immigration proceedings. Without Viator House, these young men, so far from home and family, would be homeless or in a government detention center.
Since opening in 2017, Viator House, founded by the Clerics of St. Viator, has hosted 97 young men from 23 nations.
Thank you Our Lady of the Wayside for your partnership, for the volunteers, prayers and donations you have provided these years. You are part of the reason we continue to offer hope, healing and hospitality!
