A Very Joyous Mass of Thanksgiving for Life
Priests, deacons and parishioners gathered at St. James Church Wednesday night for a beautiful and joyous Multi-parish Mass of Thanksgiving — praising God for His precious gift of life and the end of Roe vs. Wade.
Father Ed Pelrine (St. James) was the celebrant and homilist. Concelebrants included Fathers Darrio Boscutti and Tomy Abraham, and Deacons Jim Pauwels and Joseph Yannotta (St. Edna), Father Arthur Marat (Our Lady of the Wayside), Fathers Tim Fairman and Matt Jameson, and Deacon Andrew Kim (St. Theresa), and Deacon Mark Duffey (St. Thomas Villanova). Father Paul Barwikowski (St. James) was also present.
Father Ed thanked all who planned this mass, including leadership from Northwest Families for Life, those who tirelessly “ran the marathon” [for life] leading to the Supreme Court’s Dobbs v. Jackson decision, and all who support women experiencing unexpected or crisis pregnancies, or suffering from the aftermath of abortion.
