Pilgrimage for Peace in Ukraine

This Thursday, March 3^rd, St. Theresa Parish in Palatine is uniting with Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church in Palatine for a Prayer Pilgrimage for Peace.  Ukrainian Bishop Benedict Aleksiychuk will be leading prayer at the Ukrainian Church. 

Prayers will begin at St. Theresa Church at 2:45 pm, then process with a 19^th century icon of the Blessed Mother and Child from Russia to Immaculate Conception Church, where Bishop Benedict will lead prayer there. The walk between the two churches is approximately 1.8 miles. The weather is supposed to be good.

St. Theresa Parish is located at 455 N. Benton Street and Immaculate Conception is located at 116 E. Illinois Avenue. There will also be a bus available for service between parishes.
