Ops Corner: Memory Garden Bricks
The Memory Garden (for those lost too soon), at the corner of Mitchell & Park, has come together nicely. We are extremely grateful for this generous gift to our Parish and for the extraordinary efforts of the Rooney Landscaping crews who have worked so hard to bring it all to life.
Now for the next phase – BRICKS! In response to numerous requests, we are offering memory bricks for the garden walk. Each brick will be imprinted with your loved one’s name and placed in the walkway. The suggested donation is $300 per brick.

Other highlights:
- Front Doors of Church, well as I write this they are scheduled to be installed on October 24 & 25th. If not, it will be the following week.
- Rectory Windows – first floor. The order is in, and we are waiting for the manufacturer to confirm ship dates. The projection is that they will be installed next year.
- The Parish Center needs two new furnaces, there are eight total in the building.
- Plans are coming slowly for the new speaker/PA system for the Gathering Place. If you have talents in this area, please get in touch with me.
- Our campus lighting upgrade is complete, including a new lamppost outside the rectory doors and a new spot on Our Welcoming Mother in the Grotto.
As today, there are only 59 days until Christmas. I know what is on my wish list. What’s on yours?
