Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW)
Now that the new school year has begun, current 3rd through 5th grade students have graduated from Children’s Liturgy of the Word. They received a cross necklace as a graduation gift and a reminder to always keep the word of God tucked in their heart and mind. They are now ready to stay with their families during the Liturgy of the Word portion of Mass. Ushers at the 9:30 Mass will have special Kids Bulletins available that 3rd through 5th graders can take to enrich their Liturgy of the Word experience. These Kids Bulletins will also be available by the Worship Aids at any Mass.
During the 9:30a.m. Mass, preschool through 2nd grade children are invited to come to the Gathering Space for Children’s Liturgy of the Word. Kids listen to the Gospel and an age-appropriate message designed especially for them, as well as sing songs and connect with other children.
After the homily, kids are brought back to their parents for the remainder of Mass. Children may participate independently, or may be accompanied by a parent.
