Operations Director Corner: August
Happy end of summer Waysiders!
One of the highlights of our Summer was the Wayside Open. This Parish golf outing was not intended to be a fundraiser, just a fun event for all involved. However, through the diligence of the planning committee and generosity of our sponsors, they are handing over $5,400 in surplus revenue to our Parish, and have requested it be used to help close the final gap on the Middle School Bathrooms Renovation Project. As of this writing – including the funds from the Wayside Open – the total bathroom funds collected were $289,263, which is fantastic!
THANK YOU to all our generous parishioners, school families and friends of OLW for your incredible generosity. You are the #doers and #differencemakers who keep this engine running. We couldn’t do it without you.
Other than the asbestos abatement, covered earlier, we have encountered no big surprises in this project. We are confident at this point that the project will come in at budget. Which means we will be rolling some funds over to the next bathroom fund: Elementary School Bathrooms. But more on that later…
Our thanks for all who came out and played in the Wayside Open, to the sponsors, and to the planning committee who worked so diligently to not only provide an outstanding golf outing for participants, but also returned $5,400 to the Parish.
Watch for the upcoming
TP Ribbon Cutting & Dedication
of the new bathrooms!
