OLW & Holy Family Teens on a Mission From God
Bright and early last Sunday, Our Lady of the Wayside’s Director of Lifelong Faith Formation, Patty McCarthy, and parishioner, Dave Woods, loaded a van full of eager OLW and Holy Family teens and headed off on a Mission [trip] from God.
They safely arrived at Catholic Heart Workcamp in Indiana and are spending the week working at eight worksites, weeding and planting gardens, building a wheelchair ramp and deck, stripping and waxing a gym floor at a church, and doing a lot of painting (indoors and out).
God calls us all to be #doers, #differencemakers and #disciples and this group of energetic teens (and the adults working with them) is answering the call! Please keep all in your prayers this week as they are acting as God’s hands, making a difference in the world. Please also pray for their safe return at week’s end.
