Bathroom Renovation Project Well Underway

Posted on June 25, 2024 by Published by

Renovation is well underway on the Father Mackin Center bathrooms. The locker rooms were cleared and workers started roughing in the plumbing. Piles of building materials line the hallway. And, as many know from making home improvements, it always looks worse before it looks better!

We are extremely grateful to all donors who have supported the renovation project so far. We had previously raised $130,000 but need quite a bit more to reach our $300,000 goal.  We are happy to announce that we raised an additional $60,000 since May 1 – more than was reported in last week’s bulletin!

As a reminder, this is a parish renovation project and we are asking all parishioners to donate whatever you can. Recent events held in the Father Mackin Center included: Ladies Night Out Bingo, Celebrate 70 Receptions with Cardinal Cupich and Bishop Grob, monthly Faith Into Action events, Vacation Bible School, the Eucharistic Miracles Exhibit, and the 7th & 8th grade youth ministry Encounter program.

To contribute to the renovation project, please bring a check to the parish or school office (be sure to write “Bathroom Renovation Project” on the memo line.
