Blue Star Banners & Luncheon for Active Duty Service Member Families

We’re looking for Families of Active Duty Service Men and Women!

Mount Prospect American Legion Post 525 would like to give Blue Star Banners to the immediate family members (son, daughter, father, mother, sister or brother, spouse) of those currently serving in the military.

Blue Star banners date back to World War I, and were hung in the windows of family members, to let everyone know they had a loved one in the service. The American Legion Family has brought this practice back in recent years.

We are having a ceremony and complimentary lunch Sunday, July 14th, 2024 at the Moose Lodge #660 (our American Legion Post 525 home), 602 N. Main St., Mt Prospect, IL, and would like to include you and your family.
