OLW Preschoolers Create a Garden for Mary
We are eager to further a love of nature in our PK friends (aka Gardening Angels) as we grow together with God. Thank you to our preschoolers for planting flowers in our Mary Garden/Preschool Flower Garden.
Thank you to the parents who planted with our preschoolers: Mrs. Annunziata, Mrs. Carlin, Mrs. Hafner, Mrs. Koziol, Mrs. McVoy, Mrs. Mordan, Mrs. Nathan, Mrs. Schwaner, Mrs. Wermager, and Mrs. Wolf. Thanks, too, to families who generously donated annuals and perennial flowers. Thank you to the McMahon family for their generous monetary donation and supply of many perennials for our garden.
A very special thank you to Len Laughland, one of our preschooler’s Pa (and dad of Miss Laughland, one of our 8th grade teachers). Len donated hours of his time prepping the soil, moving some existing plants around to more optimal locations, fertilizing the soil, and donating and spreading mulch. We are very grateful for Len’s generous contribution of his time, talents, and treasure. Len and his wife, Pam (Nana) also helped plant flowers with our preschoolers. Thank you!
