Pilgrimage Update: Your Prayer Intentions on The Camino

Our Lady of the Wayside family,

A blessed Easter Season to you!  God willing, as you read this, I should be well along on my pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela (St. James’ resting place).

I have packed no less than 63 of your individually submitted prayer intentions (pictured above).  Your intentions range from a few simple words to long lists on multiple pages.  While I had hoped that they would fit neatly into the provided template, this—quite simply—is not how our prayers work.

Sometimes, our prayers are hurried, jumbled, messy, late, or incomplete.  But guess what?  They are all precious to and accepted by God (and yours truly).  Rest assured, God hears them all and He will answer them according to His will.

With love,
Deacon Paul
