Bible Study Intro: Old Testament Connections to Palm Sunday’s Readings

Kathleen Miller led a Bible study session focusing on the Old Testament connections to the Palm Sunday readings and St. Mark’s version of the Passion. She highlighted three Old Testament connections, including a passage from Isaiah that may have inspired Jesus’ thoughts during the Passion, the use of Psalm 22 in the narrative, and Jesus’ intentionally fulfilling a prophecy by riding into town on a donkey. Kathleen also invited those interested to join the Bible study at Our Lady of the Wayside on Friday mornings.
