American Legion Dinner/Fundraiser

Dear Veterans and Friends:

As you may know, the American Legion Post 208 in Arlington Heights hosts a noted Color Guard. This Color Guard is very active in our community providing three major services:

• Funeral Honors for any veteran in our area. This includes a rifle salute and taps as well as the Flag Folding and presentation to the family. The Post 208 Color Guard is one of a few in Illinois that is certified by the Department of Defense to perform Funeral Honors for veterans;
• Parades and Presentation of Colors at events
• Military Service Flag Ceremony – a unique service that narrates the history of each US Military Service while the service flag is presented and the service song of that branch is played.

These services are provided to our community at NO CHARGE.

This is why our Color Guard hosts an annual Dinner and Fundraiser – to raise the funds needed to continue our service to the community.

Tickets are on sale now for $25 each and available at the Post 208 Bar. Seating is limited – so act fast.
