The Christian Family Movement (CFM) Chili Cookoff was fantastic event! Our bellies were filled and our hearts were left overflowing with the joy and community of this wonderful ministry. This year’s CFM chili cook-off might have been the best yet! The paraliturgy, complete with musical accompaniment, truly elevated the atmosphere.

A HUGE THANK YOU to the Loy and Sutter groups for planning, organizing, and hosting such a fun and memorable evening! Congratulations to Tom and Carla Walloch for taking home the chili cook-off champion title and honorary chili pot. Bravo! It fills our cup to see new members getting involved; making friends, making disciples, and making a difference!!

Thank you to all who brought winter coats, boots, and cold weather gear for the CFM event action. We filled an SUV with clothing and your generosity was met with much gratitude at Ascension and St. Edmund Catholic Parish where they run The Migrant Ministry (see https://www.ascensionoakpark.com/apps/news/article/1813448)
