The Holy Family and Gender Roles

Kathleen Miller introduced the Bible readings for the Feast of the Holy Family, from the Book of Sirach, the Book of Genesis, the Book of Colossians, and the Gospel of Luke. Discussion will concentrate on the relationship between children and parents, faith in the unseen, and mutual submission, and will explore some verses in the Bible regarding the roles of men and women.
Readings discussed: Sirach 3:2-6, 12-14; Genesis 15:1-6, Colossians 3:12-21; Luke 2:22-40
