Just a heads up that phishing SCAMMERS have graduated from email to mobile phone text messages. The approach is similar… someone pretending to be Father Arthur, asking that you respond [by text].

Hello [your name], let me know when you’re available.

Thee is something I need you to do for me, I am going into a meeting now with limited phone calls, so please just reply as text.

If you receive a text from a phone number you don’t recognize and/or asking for you to text back, just DELETE the text. DO NOT reply. When in doubt about the authenticity of an email or text from someone claiming to be Father Arthur, or anyone from Our Lady of the Wayside, feel free to contact the Parish Office for clarification.
