70 Hours of Adoration for Advent

Posted on November 28, 2023 by Published by

As part of Celebrate 70!, we will offer Eucharistic Adoration for 70 hours in the Gathering Place to begin the Advent season. Adoration will begin on Sunday, December 3, at 7 PM and continue through Wednesday, December 6, until 5 PM. All are welcome to attend and pray at any time during the 70 hours. No registration necessary, but one guardian is needed for each of the 70 hours.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is one of our church’s most beautiful and powerful devotions. It offers us a time to worship God in the person of Jesus Christ who is truly present in the Eucharist. In adoration we receive the grace of God’s Mercy and become merciful so that we can give it to others. Our world is in desperate need of hope, renewal, and turning back to God. By visiting Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, we take up the best weapon for the battles of our age and contribute to the healing of our culture.

Eucharistic adoration also bears tremendous fruit in our own hearts and lives. We cannot spend time in the rays of His Eucharistic Presence without receiving His grace, His love, His mercy, and His peace.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament requires a guardian present for each of the 70 hours. To register as a guardian, please CLICK HERE.
