When I Was Hungry
Sunday, November 12, is our next monthly food drive for Our Lady of Unity (formerly St. Mark’s) Parish. Drop off non-perishable food at the parish garage from between 9 am and noon.
As part of the Archdiocese’s Renew My Church Program, St. Mark’s was merged with St. Helen and St. Aloysius Parishes and the new parish is called, Our Lady of Unity. With the merger, the number of families needing food has increased. Your donations are critically important.
Most-needed items include:
- pasta noodles & sauce
- canned tuna & chicken
- canned vegetables
- soup
- cereal
- chili
- mac & cheese
- bagged sugar
- dry white beans
Please spread the word to all Wayside Parishioners, neighbors and friends. Thank you for your past and future generosity in this important ministry.
Non-perishable food is also accepted during the week in the lobby of the Parish Center.
