Here’s the REP update for the Weeks of September 25 & October 1…
Sunday, September 24
- 4:00 pm, 8th grade Sunday Encounter youth ministry meeting, Middle School Gym
Tuesday, September 26
- 5:00 pm, 1st – 4th grades, Elementary
- 6:00 pm, NO CLASS Grades 5-8
- 7:15 pm, 2nd grade parent 1st Reconciliation meeting – on Zoom
Sunday, October 1
- 9:30 am, Family Mass
Tuesday, October 3
- 5:00 pm, 1st-4th grades, drop off at Elementary Bldg, pick up at church at 6:30 p.m.
- 6:00 pm, First class meeting, 5th-8th grades, drop off at church, pick up at Mid School
- 6:00 pm, Opening Mass for REP – parents please join us!
- 6:30 pm, 8th grade Parent Meeting in Gathering Place
Feast Celebrating the Archangels
On September 29 we celebrate the feast of the archangels — Raphael, Michael and Gabriel. Angels are sent to assist in God’s plan of salvation. They bring messages to the faithful along their path of daily life. Raphael was sent by God to accompany Tobias in his quest to find medicine for his father. Michael was sent to fight God’s battles. Gabriel is the angel who delivers special messages to those favored by God. We first hear of Gabriel through St. Luke’s depiction of the Annunciation.
