Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Fatima Visits Our Lady of the Wayside
The Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima arrived, bright and early, at Our Lady of the Wayside Thursday, September 14, 2023. The morning began at 7:30 with a Procession of the Statue, followed by a brief custodial talk. At 8 am, the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary were recited, followed by Mass at 8:30. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and recitation of the Litany of Loretto and Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary followed Mass.
The statue remained at Our Lady of the Church for prayer and visitation until 4:00 pm, and will now travel to other churches in Illinois for the month of September and then travel to other states and countries. See Fatima Tour For Peace Schedule HERE.
