Right To Life Ground Zero Tour

St. James Parish’s Respect Life Ministry Invites You Respect Life Mass, Light Breakfast Reception and Pro-Life Training on Saturday, September 16. The meeting will take place right after the 7:30 am mass in the Laramie Room.

Because of the extreme laws and the abortion industry shamelessly luring women into our state, it’s no surprise that Illinois is the abortion capital of the Midwest. Illinois abortion laws don’t just pose a threat to the women and preborn babies of Illinois, they are a threat to women and babies in neighboring states – and beyond. But there’s more; according to Planned Parenthood of Illinois, they have seen a record number of abortion patients travel to Illinois for abortion.

Mary Kate Zander, the Executive Director of Illinois Right to Life, will provide a thorough understanding of:

• The growing trend of abortion tourism in Illinois and the greater Midwest
• Changes to Illinois law and public policy that have opened the floodgates for more abortion travel
• Where women seeking abortions are coming from and how they’re making the trip
• Risks to women’s health that are uniquely associated with abortion tourism
• What is being done by the Illinois pro-life movement to change the tide of abortion travel
