Last week’s Bible Study Introduction by Kathleen Miller… Our Gospel reading from Matthew 17 demonstrates the power of Jesus over the forces of nature, and also the power of desperate prayer. The first reading, from 1 Kings, is part of an exciting “short story” that would make a great movie script.
