Farewell Kathy Freiburger
On Monday, August 7, one of Our Lady of the Wayside’s longtime parishioners of more than 50 years, and dedicated OLW employee for 41 years, passed away. Kathy Freiburger, 80, was the mother of three children and grandmother of eight – all of whom graduated from our parish school. She was loved by all and her presence will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held at Glueckert Funeral Home in Arlington Heights this Friday, August 11, from 3-8 pm, and at Our Lady of the Wayside’s Gathering Place on Saturday, August 12, from 10-11 am.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Wayside Church on Saturday, August 12, at 11 am. Father Ed Fialkowski will be the celebrant and homilist. Fathers Vince Costello, Louis Golamari, and Arthur Marat will concelebrate. Deacon Jerry Brennan will assist. Mass will be livestreamed on YouTube and Facebook.
