Empower Illinois Advocacy Training
The Invest in Kids Tax Credit Scholarship Program is vitally important for Catholic schools. The program enables OLW to offer approximately 20 student scholarships per year. It currently lacks support in the IL General Assembly and is set to expire if we fail to change the minds of some of our legislators.
Please join with other Catholic schools in our area at Advocacy Training with Empower Illinois representatives who will help us advocate for the program and communicate with our state legislators so that they will support this going forward.
St. James Parish has graciously offered to host the training, Thursday, August 3 at 6:00 pm in their auditorium. No RSVP is needed. If you have questions, please contact Danielle Kenney, dkenney@olwschool.org.
