Jesus understood loneliness. Jesus gained meteoric popularity only to watch thousands of his followers, just as quickly, walk away from him. As he was being prosecuted for crimes he didn’t commit, his closest friends abandoned him out of fear. He stood alone in life’s most challenging moments. But during these times of isolation and abandonment, Jesus revealed a radical approach to healing, recovery, and resolution.
