REP Update: January 24 and 31, 2023

Here is the REP Schedule for the Weeks of January 24 and 31, 2023.

Tuesday, January 24 

• 4 pm, 1^st through 4^th grade classes meet
•  7 pm, 5^th and 6^th grade classes meet
• Protecting God’s Children Lesson for all classes

Tuesday, January 31 

• 4 pm,  1^st through 4^th grade classes meet
•  7 pm, 7^th and 8^th grade classes meet

Who is God?

At the beginning of the Nicene Creed we pray that “We believe in one God.” God is the only god in which we believe and follow as Christians. The Creed continues “the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen.” God is the divine being from which all things come even the things we cannot see or do not know.  What else do we believe about God? He is our Heavenly Father who formed us and everything else. We share in all of this creation because we have both a body and a soul, each of which is given to us by God. From where did God come? We believe that God always existed and, in fact, God did not come from anything! Everything came from God.
