About Light the Night:
Light the Night was developed in 2016 by Seminarians at Mundelein Seminary and has grown since then to take place at local parishes, schools and religious sites. This event provides an opportunity for young people to come together in prayer and reflection. The evening is organized and hosted by students and staff of Carmel Catholic High School out of a desire to bring together young people to share our faith. Priests will be present for Eucharistic Exposition, for confessions, and for celebration of Mass. The event also allows youth to meet other youth from around the Archdiocese of Chicago, showing that the Catholic Church extends beyond their local Parish.
