Memorial Mass & Candlelight Prayer Service for Victims of Abortion

St. Theresa Parish in Palatine will host a Memorial Mass & Candlelight Prayer Service for Victims of Abortion on Saturday, January 21, 5:00 pm.

Although Roe has been overturned, it has left a wound that continues to harm our state.

• Immediately following 5:00 pm Mass, the lights will be dimmed and 127 candles will be lovingly carried to the altar.
• Each candle is a personal memorial for one specific child who lost his or her life to abortion that day in Illinois.
• We will observe 127 seconds of silence symbolizing the voices silenced that day.

This may be the only memorial service these children will ever get.
