Advent at OLW School

For Advent, our students read the story, The Christmas Pine by Julia Donaldson, and then talked about the message – how children grow and shine like the Christmas Pine. Our students were given paper trees to write down the ways in which Jesus helps them grow and shine. Those paper trees make up the life-sized Advent wreath used during our Advent Prayer Services.
