Shawl Ministry Celebrates The Season

Our Lady of the Wayside’s Shawl Ministry celebrated Christmas on Thursday, December 8th in the parish center. The ladies shared sandwiches, snacks, cookies, desserts together while playing Christmas games and exchanging “White Elephant” gifts. The ladies enjoyed their time together!
The Shawl Ministry makes beautiful crocheted and knitted shawls to comfort primarily the elderly and sick. Since its inception, the Shawl Ministry has made over 2, 000 shawls. New members are always welcome. We meet on Thursday afternoons at 1:00 in the Parish center. Yarn is provided to those willing to make shawls for this ministry.
