Big Crowds, Happy Runners/Walkers & Volunteers Make 2nd Annual SVdP Fun Run a Success!

About 140 walkers, runners and volunteers joined in supporting the 2nd Annual Our Lady of the Wayside (OLW) St. Vincent de Paul (SVDP) Friends of the Poor 5K on September 24, 2002.

The morning began with an eager group of kids who dashed to finish. An award honored the Rodriguez/Rosal/Gibbons family as the event’s largest family. Fastest male went to Sean Kim and fastest female went to his daughter Charlotte.

Funds raised by the event go to the OLW SVDP ministry and its collaborating parishes, which provide aide to individuals and families living within the parish boundaries facing financial insecurity.
