September 2022 marks the 40th anniversary of the Tylenol Murders which had a direct impact on our parish community.

Adam Janus, an OLW parishioner, was the second fatality (of seven) from consuming potassium cyanide-laced Tylenol. Adam’s brother Stanley and sister-in-law Theresa also died from ingesting the same tainted product.

Adam Janus, 27, his brother Stanley, 25, and Stanley’s wife, Theresa, 19, all died after ingesting cyanide-laced Tylenol in 1982. (AP photo) Source:

Bishop Jeffrey Grob will be the celebrant and homilist at a Mass of Remembrance held in our church on Sunday September 25 at 11:30 am.

All are welcomed!
