Rector’s Classic Golf Outing & Dinner Reception
Attention all golfers! We are happy to announce that registration is open for the 31st Annual Rector’s Golf Classic. Invite your golf friends and join us on Thursday, September 15, at Pine Meadow Golf Club.
Our golf event will include a BBQ lunch, a swag bag at registration, and a special gift for each golfer. The day of togetherness will continue into the evening with a reception, silent/online auction, raffle, dinner, and award presentation at Mundelein Seminary.
Our exciting silent auction items include:
- A round of golf for three at Ballybunion Golf Club in Ireland
- A round of golf for three at Onwentsia Club in Lake Forest, IL
- A round of golf for three at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, OK
- A six-night stay in Siesta Key, FL
- A pair of Maui Jim glasses, among many others
During the evening reception, we will honor Bishop George J. Rassas ’68, former Episcopal Vicar for Vicariate I, who will receive the 2022, Joseph Cardinal Bernardin “In Service of One Another” Catholic Humanitarian Award. He is a founding member of the Cristo Rey St. Martin College Prep School in Waukegan and took a special interest in working with the poor in Lima and Piura, Peru.
