Sunrise Prayer Service for the Protection of Our Children

Since 2010, on the shores of Lake Michigan, the BCDC has hosted annual sunrise prayer services to pray for the protection of our children.

6:30 a.m. – 8 a.m.
Oakwood Beach
4100 S. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago
This year the Sunrise Prayer Service will be followed by a breakfast and symposium held at Our Lady of Africa Parish (Holy Angels Church Site). The Peace Fellowship Breakfast will take place from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. The Peace Symposium will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Everyone is invited. Deacons are asked to attend in alb and white Archdiocese of Chicago stole, as we bless the children on their return to school.
