Grandparents & Special Persons Day
Today was Grandparents & Special Persons Day at Our Lady of the Wayside. The gym was packed with smiling faces, the parking lot outside was completely full, as were the streets around our school.
The morning began with Student Performances (PK-5th grade) and a Matilda musical preview in our school gym, and included a prayer and special blessing from Father Arthur. Afterwards, grandparents got to say hello to students and teachers during a short classroom visit, and then enjoy hospitality in the multipurpose room, or shop the Scholastic Book Fair.
Way to go Grandparents & Special Persons. Thanks for coming today, and for supporting our students and school.
